King Croc: A Giant of the Animal Kingdom
King Croc is a massive, 40-year-old crocodile from Australia, weighing 750 kg and over 5 m long. Once seen as a problem at 2. 4 m, he was relocated to a protected area in Queensland. With regular meals and safety, he has thrived and is expected to grow even larger. He shares his space with Queen Croc, who is over 80 years old.

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo Gentoo Penguins
In 2010, the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo was the first in the region to feature Gentoo penguins. A new exhibit is set to enhance visitor experiences and establish a new standard. These penguins were brought from a USA facility and are found in the wild around the Antarctic peninsula and Subantarctic islands. The facility is climate-controlled, maintaining air temperatures of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius and water temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees Celsius, with special lighting to mimic their natural environment. There are 16 Gentoo penguins, and visitors can soon participate in a “Penguin Encounter” to learn about these birds.

Asian Small-Clawed Otters
The Asian small-clawed otter is the smallest of all 13 otter species and is native to Asia. Visitors can take an exclusive tour of their home in the Underwater Zoo and interact with these charming animals. They are highly threatened, weigh less than 5 kilograms, and primarily eat crustaceans, snails, fish, and insects. Otters can consume up to 20% of their body weight daily and are known for their intelligence and tool use.

Ray Encounter
At Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, you can meet, touch, and feed 50 rays. Hand-feed Eagle Rays and Cow nose Rays on a special platform, enjoying an amazing experience with these safe and gentle creatures.

Shark Trainer Encounter
This experience teaches guests about shark species and care at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. It covers their environment, feeding, and breeding while allowing visitors to help train Bamboo Sharks and Leopard Sharks. Visitors can enter a tank in waterproof waders for a unique interaction with the sharks.
